A quick blogupdate

Just a quick one to let you know how everything is going.

Preparations for Agnes' and I leaving have all been done. Farouk is all ready to help run things here while we away. It is good to know I have someone trustworthy and loyal like Farouk to help with everything.

Last week the schoolies revolution guys came and visited the tailoring class, and the co-op girls came to join them as well.
A great time was had with lots of dancing! including the schoolies getting dragged up for a dance as well.
Afterwards an encouraging message was presented and the girls were prayed for. They then showed their skills on the tailoring machines, and even managed to sell a few of their bags to some of the schoolies team.

The girls are all set for the next two months at the co-op. We have at least two schools who have locked us in for work, as well as re-sizing work for them to do for the village of hope. This is great news and they are very happy to know they have lots work over the next few months.

I had a bit of an adventure the other day, and went exploring into a bat cave. We wanted to get there through the jungle with a machete, but a local man offered us his boat instead.
Bit of a spooky cave, lots of bats, and someone had put up a little shrine at the front, where the locals offer sacrifices to the ghost they believe lives in the cave.
I also managed to drop my phone in the water and had to dive down about 3 meters to get it! luckily the fixed it for me in town.

We had our break up and Christmas party for the girls yesterday! A big day was had dancing, eating meat, drinking sodas and giving speeches. I gave a short Christmas message to them about God coming into the world to show us His love.
Everyone had a great time.

Sorry about the short blog post, I am still very busy and just wanted to give a quick update. Agnes and I are leaving for Australia soon. Please pray for us, and pray for health for Agnes who has some sickness.
God bless and see you people in Australia soon.
